About Me

🚢 Hello everyone — I’m Jackie!

I’m the face behind Your Best Escape by JR Travels, an independent cruise specialist based locally.

After 26 years with British Airways, travel has always been a huge part of my life, and I’m now lucky enough to turn that experience and passion into helping other people plan their holidays — with cruising very much at the heart of what I do.

I help clients find the right cruise for them, whether that’s a first cruise, a family sailing, a premium experience or something a little more special with Seabourn, Silversea, Regent or Explora Journeys.

And it’s not just about booking the cruise. I can help with the flights, hotels, transfers, excursions and pre- or post-cruise stays, so the whole journey is taken care of.

I’m a great believer that there isn’t one cruise that suits everyone — and that’s where having someone who knows the ships, the cruise lines and the little details can make such a difference.

I’m not here to bombard you withbut if anyone is thinking about cruising, wondering which cruise line might suit them, or simply has a question about cruising, please feel free to ask. I’m always happy to help. 😊

More than a cruise. The whole journey. ✨
